Kremer Dental Care is proud to participate in Freedom Day USA in offering free dentistry to active military, veterans, their spouses, and their children under eighteen years old, on October 9, 2020. This will be our 5th year of honoring our veterans with a day of free dental care. Serving the Northern California Community for over 20 years, this event gives Dr. Kevin Kremer and his team the opportunity to give back to veterans and personally thank them for their service.

We are honored to serve the ones who make it possible for us to live in this country, to enjoy the freedoms that we do, and to have the opportunity to live the American dream because they are a part of that distinguished group who gave their lives.

On the day of the event, veterans are invited to wear their colors, and share stories of their service. Due to COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines patients MUST CALL IN ADVANCE to reserve an appointment. Space is limited as appointments are on a first-come, first-serve basis. To reserve your reservation time, or if you have any questions, please give us a call at our Philadelphia Square office (530) 892-1218. We also request that all patients bring their military identification or proof of service.

Freedom Day USA 2019 - Free Dental Care

In 2019, we provided $62,000 of free dentistry to over 60 veterans and their family members.

Our team looks forward to this day every year. We enjoy spending time getting to know each person individually, showing our appreciation for their willingness to serve us by helping them one by one.

Our Hygienist Erica Hulbert is glad to volunteer her time for Freedom Day USA because it holds a special place in her heart. She is a Navy veteran who served between 2008 and 2012, including two deployments. Erica says, "As a veteran I’m thankful to Dr. Kremer for doing this and I’m excited to help my fellow veterans.”

Dr. Kevin Kremer shares his thoughts and memories.

"Freedom Day USA gives us the opportunity to give back to those in our country who have given a great sacrifice: their time and commitment to the betterment of our country. It is in giving that we receive, and this is the most rewarding day of the year for our team. One of my favorite memories is the stories from a veteran Navy SEAL, how impactful he was to our country in saving human lives, and how impactful he felt we were to help him with his oral health."

One comment on “FREEDOM DAY USA - Free Dental Care for Veterans”

  1. It's been a long time since my family and I have had a family Dentist and Team we trusted enough to work on our teeth. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Jeong (watching her out-muscle a tooth is something to behold...especially if it is your own!), Dr. McKinney, and the staff from both of their Chico locations over the last few days, all of whom actually laugh and make what could be a painful visit (in more ways than one) into a much more enjoyable experience. The care they provided to Military Veterans today, to include this Vet, was very much appreciated. The I believe the Op Rooms at the Philadelphia Square location were full, the staff was extremely busy but all appeared to be in good humor. All of them were fully engaged. My family and I would like to extend a well-earned/well-deserved THANK YOU to all of you! Enjoy your weekend and Columbus Day!
