DENTAL BONDING

Dental bonding offers cosmetic and restorative benefits.

The dental bonding procedure applies a composite resin material directly to your teeth in order to conceal small cosmetic flaws such as chips, discoloration, and flaws in shape and/or size. The bonding solution used for dental bonding can also be used to fill small cavities and repair damaged teeth.

Why Use Dental Bonding?

  • When using bonding materials, we will color the bonding material so that it perfectly matches the color of your natural teeth, creating a perfect smile.
  • For many patients, dental bonding serves as less expensive alternative to porcelain veneers. The dental bonding procedure does not require any alteration to your natural tooth structure, and therefore can be reversed (if necessary in the future).
  • Dental bonding offers immediate results. Kremer Dental can give you a rejuvenated smile within a single visit to one of our Chico dentist offices.
  • With good oral hygiene and routine dental visits, dental bonding can last for many years.

Dental Bonding Procedure

Dental bonding is an extremely versatile procedure because it can be a stand-alone procedure, or performed in combination with other cosmetic and restorative dentistry treatments – such as teeth whitening, or dental crowns and bridges.

Patients must have good oral health in order to be a good candidate for dental bonding. Any dental problems such as cavities and gum disease should be resolved before you proceed with any cosmetic treatment such as dental bonding.
